I came across SHREDDAGE x-torrent.torrent, which was released last year. SHREDDAGE is founded by a group of young Korean artists of Korean TV show "New Girl". The torrent is the first project made by the studio at their inception in 2012, and it's also known as their "elevator pitch". It consists of 2 minutes 2 seconds of music, without lyrics or vocals at 60 bpm beat speed. The artist decided to release on many different formats on different platforms to allow for more freedom for people to listen on what they feel comfortable with. This includes the SHREDDAGE album, the SHREDDAGE iTunes album, and Rez / Audiocopies of these projects.The SHREDDAGE ezine is a project that launched publicly in April 2015. It contains interviews with artists and their ideas about music and sound. This is part of the reason why I wanted to share this project with everyone who follows this blog and maybe you guys can learn something from it. As an artist, I want to provide people with more insight on what we do and how we create our music, hopefully sparking the curiosity of your minds into thinking about music in a different way, taking your minds from where it is now into where they want it to be in the future. SHREDDAGE is a project started by a group of young Korean artists of Korean TV show "New Girl". SHREDDAGE has released 8 song releases, 300+ albums since 2012, and several iPod / iPhone Apps to date. The studio is run mainly by the artist Do Young Lee, who is known as "Shredage" on the internet. The chief programmer is Eunsoo Kim who came from Canada and also runs a record label called BYF Records. Do Young Lee was born in Seoul, South Korea in 2000. He grew up listening to various genres of music such as pop rock, indie rock, hip hop/rap and drum n bass, among others. In 2010 he started making music, known as hip hop. In 2011, Do Young Lee met Kim Si-young through a mutual friend and the two decided to start a music project together thus SHREDDAGE was born. In 2012, they released their first song "Sarang", a folk music type of song which is a parody of the typical hip hop/rap song which was so popular at the time. Through this release, they've gained more media attention due to being featured on MTV Korea and also have been interviewed by major media outlets such as "The Korea Herald".
